Introduction

This Roof Top Worker training course is designed for telecoms professionals to prove their competency in working on rooftops including; fall arrest systems, anchors and fixed ladder climbing up 5 metres, in order to gain Arqiva Gateway access - part of our Telecoms Passport course.

The XI Roof Top Worker training course is designed to cover all aspects of rooftop working including PPE inspection, PPE daily use, fall arrest systems and anchors in line with 2005 work at height regulations.

Delegates will be exposed to situations where decisions need to be taken regarding:

  • Health and safety legislation
  • Risk assessment and usage
  • Hazards for rooftop access
  • PPE selection and usage
  • PPE maintenance and inspection
  • Fixed ladder access to rooftops
  • Fixed and adjustable restraint systems
  • Anchor types, systems and selection


Outdoor clothing suitable for the seasonal weather conditions. Climbing PPE will be provided.
If you prefer to use your own PPE please provide valid inspection records.
