Introduction

This training course is for those who work in medium risk confined spaces. A Medium risk confined space exists when there are access issues, a realistic expectation of encountering a specified risk, the possible introduction of a specified risk during the work activity and that escape breathing apparatus must be taken into the confined space.

It will bealso be possible to have a person permanently attached to a safety line and isusually a team entry which moves away from the entry point.

E.g. manentry sewers, utility service, subway tunnels, aqueducts and complex wet wells.

·        Weil’s disease and sewage and

·        Hazardous atmospheres and gas

·        Risk assessment process

·        Use of permit to work control measures.

·        Equipment selection and pre use inspection andsafe operation ( IP rated, intrinsically safe & ATEXapproved).

·        Fall arrest systems.

         Theoretical and practicaltraining on escape breathing Apparatus
